The American School shows off its rhythm at the 12th annual International Children’s Friendship Festival
On Sunday, April 18, 2021, the American School’s dance troupe participated in the 12th annual International Children’s Friendship Festival (ICFF). This virtual event counted with the participation of children from a wide number of countries. Our dance troupe presented pre-Hispanic as well as modern dance routines, thereby representing our culture’s wealth and diversity.
The American School troupe had traveled to Seattle for the festival in previous years in order to share its love of and passion for dance. This year’s virtual event highlighted our students’ ability to adapt to any circumstance as well as reach their goals while in the midst of today’s challenges.
The Athletics and Arts department makes a concerted effort in offering students innovative physical and emotional well-being opportunities.
